Service Technician Charlotte

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading compressed air manufacturer & distributor covering Charlotte, NC.

The Successful Candidate will:

1. Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, validation, and testing of compressed air downstream.
2. Ideally have a field service background in servicing compressed air downstream equipment, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, filtration, or similar compressed air systems.

Package: $30 – $40 Per Hour

Role Responsibilities:

1. Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air products, systems, and solutions at customer sites.
2. Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, and fault finding of various compressed air downstream systems.
3. Maintain, repair, install, validate & test varied compressor systems such as air compressors, blowers, dryers, condensate technology, filtration, and more.
4. Identify and provide the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressor products.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

1. Proven diagnostic skills on complicated mechanical engineering or downstream equipment.
2. Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar.
3. The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new compressor customers.
4. Good working knowledge of air compressor downstream equipment.
5. A field service background in servicing compressors, instrumentation, filtration, hydraulics, or similar compressed air products & systems.
