A leading mechanical engineering provider is seeking a Process Engineer / Project Manager / Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing design and development of various engineering processes and solutions within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
Package: $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
Role:
- Provide design and development of various engineering processes and solutions within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Support various engineering departments in the test and development of engineering products, processes, and systems.
- Assist in the identification of new R&D opportunities within the water & wastewater industry.
- Manage the planning, execution, and closeout of capital sales projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, sales, and field service for seamless project execution.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans.
- Lead project meetings, track deliverables, and manage change orders.
- Work closely with various engineering departments to ensure an excellent standard of customer care and service.
Requirements:
- Experience as a process engineer, design engineer, systems engineer, manufacturing engineer, production engineer, chemical engineer, applications engineer, and/or similar.
- Proven track record of design and process engineering within a mechanical engineering environment, ideally within the water treatment industry.
- Excellent technical and data interpretation skills of project and client needs.
- Lead the design, testing, and optimization of treatment processes for pilot and full-scale equipment installations.
- Oversee execution of pilot trials, including setup, operation, monitoring, and data collection.
- Analyze operational and process performance data to drive continuous improvement and validate technology performance.
- Support commissioning and troubleshooting efforts for both existing and new product lines.
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management training.
- Experience with piloting emerging technologies and scaling new equipment to market.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, SCADA systems, and instrumentation used in treatment facilities.
- Based in Georgia.
