A Senior Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Engineer is required to join an industry leader in Houston, TX.
The successful Senior Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Enginee r will come from a background of designing, engineering, and delivering advanced building automation and energy management systems, preferably with Delta Controls.

Senior Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Engineer Responsibilities:
• Design and engineer building automation and energy management systems aligned with local energy codes and sustainability goals
• Analyze mechanical and control system performance across individual buildings and entire campuses
• Create advanced, project-specific programming solutions to maximize efficiency and system performance
• Build and modify custom graphical front ends that enhance the user experience and operational insight
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Program and troubleshoot DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to meet specifications
• Track project financials, including monthly audits and post-project reviews
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and help shape engineering standards
Senior Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Engineer Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred; other fields welcome)
• Strong understanding of electronics and basic electrical circuit principles
• Familiarity with advanced programming concepts and system integration
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, HVAC, and energy controls
• Working knowledge of DDC theory and control applications
• Experience with Delta Controls, Tridium, or Niagara Framework preferred
• Resides within 45 minutes of Houston, TX
