Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager is required to join a leading distributor and developer of Industrial Control Equipment. The candidate will come from a mechanical sales background or have previous experience in selling a range of Gas Compression equipment such as Gas Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Rotary Screw Compressors, Diaphragm Compressors, and Centrifugal Compressors.
This role is based in the Houston, Texas branch, covering the local area primarily in Oil & Gas, with potential to grow into other industries, working with end users, OEMs, and engineers.

The role involves managing and developing an existing client base while also acquiring new profitable clients. Responsibilities include:
- Selling a range of Gas Compression equipment such as Gas Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Rotary Screw Compressors, Diaphragm Compressors, Centrifugal Compressors, or similar products within Pneumatic controls.
- Identifying and acquiring new market potential customers.
- Liaising with the internal and external sales team and other engineering departments when required.
- Supporting a team of sales engineers and account managers, leading sales strategies.
- Selling a wide variety of Compression equipment and control-related products to contractors, OEMs, end-users, and distributors.
- Travel will be required within the Dallas, Kilgore, and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
- Experience as Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Manager / Internal Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Applications Engineer / Service Technician / Process Engineer.
- An engineering qualification of some sort would be beneficial.
- Experience working with Compression Rental Fleets, Fabricator, Packager, EPC, E&P, or Midstream companies.
- Have sold Gas Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Rotary Screw Compressors, Diaphragm Compressors, Centrifugal Compressors, or similar products within Pneumatic controls.
- Experience working within external sales roles serving industries such as Oil & Gas, working with engineers, OEMs, and end users.
- Must be located in Dallas, Kilgore, and the surrounding areas.
