Development Engineer / R&D Engineer / Research & Development Engineer / Innovation Engineer required to join a global manufacturer of electromechanical measurement devices & sensors in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The Development Engineer / R&D Engineer / Research & Development Engineer / Innovation Engineer will be the interface between electronics and mechanics for flow measurement products & sensors, and will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of the sensor electronics hardware to support wider functionality of measurement devices. The successful Development Engineer must have either a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or similar. Industrial / practical engineering experience would be beneficial. An understanding of signal processing, data analysis, data acquisition, flow measurement, sensors, test & measurement, underlying physics of sensors / flow measurement, measurement principles, fluid dynamics or similar is required.
