The Manager, Post‑Verto Planning (PVP) is a specialised, London based role dedicated to empowering students to confidently navigate their next steps after Verto through individualised guidance, strategic planning, and dedicated support - equipping them to pursue their goals with clarity and purpose. This position focuses exclusively on the Post‑Verto Strategy (individualised guidance) and the Post‑Verto Plan (the final pathway). Reporting to the Academic Director, this position will own the execution of PVP programming at the specific location, ensuring every student – whether Channel or Traditional – leaves Verto with a clear, documented, and achievable next step.
What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Individualised Advising
- Case Management: Act as the primary owner for the London's PVP caseload, specifically managing students interested in applying to Verto's Direct Transfer partners.
- Strategy Implementation: Lead Post‑Verto strategy conversations for all students, focusing on their Channel program requirements, Direct Transfer goals, or support of independent college applications.
- 1:1 Support: Conduct high‑level 1:1 sessions to provide DT partner recommendations, career interest exploration, and major alignment.
- Verto Continuation Support: Advising students with regard to Verto's Associate's Abroad Global Pathway. Robust semester close‑out support to maintain engagement for multi‑semester students and support their transition to their next Verto location.
- Academic Support: Support schedule auditing for Channel students, approval of Channel add/drop requests, support census auditing, and midterm academic reviews. Support local tutoring coordination and advising including, 'off track' students, international students, and those in the Low GPA Pathway.
- Verto Direct Transfer (DT) Oversight: Accountable for the movement of Verto DT Applications through the pipeline, including initial vetting for eligibility and completeness.
- Documentation: Ensure 100% accuracy in Salesforce for student strategies and final Post‑Verto Plans to meet global Key Performance Indicator targets.
- Workshops & Events: Host Orientation/Discovery Sessions, DT Application workshops, and Channel‑specific advising sessions.
- Partner Engagement: Coordinate university partner site visits and facilitate student participation in pre‑departure and onsite webinars to increase partner‑to‑student interaction.
- Peer Learning: Develop and moderate onsite 'Channel Communities' to encourage best‑practice sharing and community engagement among students.
- People Leadership: Directly manage and develop Specialist, Post‑Verto Planning, providing guidance on complex student cases, lead onboarding and ongoing professional development of team members to build capability and consistency across PVP delivery.
- SSA Mentorship: Train Student Success Advisors (SSAs) on initial PVP 1:1 conversations with students, course audit support, and Salesforce documentation.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Collaborate with University Partnerships (UP) Verto Head Quarters on programming development and partner with Account Managers to ensure partner expectations are met.
- Operational Efficiency: Support 'Melt' tracking by identifying students who cancel additional semesters and streamlining end‑of‑semester plans.
- Role Coverage Support: Provide flexible hybrid coverage for complementary responsibilities as needed to support operational priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an institution in the United States required; Master's in Higher Education, Counseling, or Student Affairs preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years in student success, academic advising, or an understanding of the United States college admission landscape.
- Language: Working proficiency in English, both oral and written, is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in case management – logging cases, reporting (Salesforce), Google Suite, and a willingness to adopt emerging AI advising tools.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional empathy, 'sounding board' capabilities, and the ability to navigate high‑pressure application deadlines.

Compensation
At Verto, base salary is one part of your total compensation package. Final base pay will depend on your location (aligned to Verto's compensation regions), as well as your experience, skills, and relevant qualifications. Your recruiter/hiring manager can share the specific range for your location during the hiring process.
