This is a great opportunity to join our team of Generator Engineers based across the UK, in Golborne. They service a wide variety of clients that we work with on a daily basis from datacentres to critical buildings.
What are we looking for?
- Qualification in either electrical or mechanical discipline.
- Experience of Electrical or Mechanical fault finding & rectification.
- Comfortable with using a laptop.
- Experience in a field operations role.
- Ideally, previous experiences within the generator standby power or related industry but not essential.
What will you be doing?
- Undertake standard service activities to include diesel engine servicing.
- Carry out contract maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to Vertiv standards.
- Basic fault finding and rectification in both Electrical and/or Mechanical disciplines.
- Identify opportunities for extra work (SQD) & recommendations.
- Remedial work to contract customers either planned repairs or as part of a call-out facility.
- On rota-call out response.
- Completion and submission of relevant reports to service administration within a timely manner following all site activity.
- Comply with all Company Health and Safety Requirements.
