This role is responsible for controlling and coordinating the company’s service warehousing and inventory management activities. It involves supervising supply, storage, and accessibility of items to ensure adequate stock without excess. The logistics component includes integrating information, transportation, material handling, and packing from origin to consumption to meet customer requirements. The role also involves proactively coordinating and fulfilling the purchasing team's needs.
How success and optimal performance look like in the first year:
- Processing inbound and outbound goods.
- Maintaining accuracy and integrity of stock holdings.
- Picking and allocating component parts to sales orders and other demands.
- Organizing and coordinating related transport logistics.
- Ensuring the yard areas and warehouses are organized, clean, and well-maintained.
- Managing waste collections and related paperwork, including fuel sample processing.
- Creating purchase orders for spares as needed.
- Investigating and resolving warehouse and store queries.
- Performing other tasks within your capabilities as required.
- Supporting the development of internal systems and procedures related to MRP, stock control, and forecasting.
- Assisting the National Service Supply Chain Supervisor with purchase order creation and related activities.
- Providing regular feedback on supplier performance.
Interactions: Customers, Regional Operations teams, Management, CRM, Technical Support staff, Facilities, Finance, Product Operations & Suppliers.
What will the person be expected to do to reach success & optimal performance:
Supervisor AssistanceProvide feedback on operational and financial performance, report problems or client complaints, and perform other tasks as needed.
QHSEAssist with ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 registration, assess and control risks, ensure compliance with legislation, vet and approve suppliers, ensure premises are suitable and safe, reduce adverse events, and promote awareness of management systems.
