Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Department Head, this position presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the electrical design aspects of electrical switchgear and contribute to product improvements.
- The main remit of the role will involve working with senior design engineers and the Switchgear R&D manager in the preparation of electrical drawings and documentation as well as the electrical aspects of the Standards for LV Switchgear products and other support functions for this part of the business.
Qualifications:
- Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Be enrolled in a third level Engineering course with a bias towards Electrical Engineering.
- An understanding of Engineering Design Principles.
- Working knowledge and experience with SolidWorks.
- Additional/Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Office packages: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Standing for long periods.
