Our Campsie factory manufactures Vertiv PowerBoard low and medium voltage switchgear and Vertiv Unify software for critical infrastructure across data centres, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings. Backed by advanced production capabilities and a skilled engineering team, the site delivers safe, reliable, and scalable power solutions to customers worldwide.
The Technical Document Controller fulfils a critical role within a centralised governance team, providing robust technical support and compliance oversight for a large Switchgear Project Delivery function across the EMEA region. The Technical Document Controller maintains strict control of all inbound and outbound technical documentation to ensure accuracy, traceability, and contractual compliance. This role requires a disciplined approach to standardised processes and close collaboration with project management, engineering and quality teams. The Technical Document Controller will facilitate compliance and promote the effective management of documentation for the entire Switchgear portfolio.
Responsibilities
- General Technical Document Management
- Distribute to internal teams’ latest version-controlled project documentation, forms, templates etc.
- Support in the preparation of Product Technical Submittal packages.
- Support in the preparation of technical literature, such as Operation and Maintenance manuals, Sequence of Operation documents etc.
- Monitor and record the receipt of key end-of-line operational data and certifications.
- Coordinate with third parties regarding product documentation needs.
- Support project management teams in the uploading of key documentation submittals on third party platforms.
- Assist management in the preparation of operational performance and strategic plans and programmes.
- Identify any issues in administrative and/or operations processes and systems and assist in resolving them in quick and effective manner.
- Maintain clear and accurate documents and records of procedures for future reference purposes.
- Endeavour to ensure that all Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
- Proactively participate in the delivery of management reporting systems including Cost control, Progress reporting, Quality, Environmental issues, ensuring compliance with company standards.
