The busbar Project Manager plays a critical role in leading, planning, execution and delivery of multiple projects, primarily within the MEP and data centre environments. This role requires strong leadership, organization and communication skills to ensure all projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As leaders, the PM will be responsible for the continued development of management methods and best practices, provide optimal procedural services, and concern themselves with the health, risk, and dexterity of Projects through active engagement with Reporting Structures and department colleagues at all levels.
You will:
- Lead the full delivery of busbar projects in data center and MEP environments.
- Oversee planning, budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Act as the client’s main contact while driving clear communication across teams.
- Coordinate engineering, purchasing, and production to streamline approvals, materials, and dispatch.
- Champion risk management, reporting, and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.
About you:
- Experience in project management within a Construction, Manufacturing, MEP or data center environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, switchgear, or busbar trunking systems would be beneficial.
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED: Intermittent travel to various production facilities and site locations - If you are based at our Bedford or Warrington site we would require you to spend the first 5-6 weeks at our plant in Burnfoot, Ireland.
