What you will do
- Provide technical support for sales across various Lines of Business in Vertiv for strategic customers.
- Provide Sales with technical support in building proposals, quotes, and tenders.
- Enable the development of technically and price competitive applications for products to fulfil customer requirements.
- Understand and demonstrate the Vertiv offering and our capabilities for your specific segment.
- Set targets to align with the growth expectations of the market and Vertiv's strategic position.
- Provide complex presales technical support by reviewing the RFx and identifying customer requirements/specifications.
- Coordinate with factory engineering departments for specific technical requests.
- Design and deliver innovative solutions to achieve competitive advantages in the market.
- Manage the relationship between various stakeholder groups in Vertiv.
- Create and perform product and application presentations for customers and consultants.
- Provide internal trainings for colleagues and external trainings for customers and consultants.
- Manage in-country activities related to Application Engineering tasks.
- Anticipate market trends as an industry expert within the line of business assigned.
- Ensure compliance with the Company Code of Conduct and Trade Compliance.
- Attend customer meetings together with Sales and provide feedback on how to improve the offering.
- Attend, facilitate and lead events for Vertiv with external customers.
What will make you successful?
- Solid technical background on the assigned line of business.
- Industry expertise or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Engineering curiosity and passion to learn every single day.
- Results oriented with excellent commercial experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven records in Offering, Engineering, Pre-Sales, Product Marketing.
- Fluent in English and your local language, ideally with a 2nd European Language.
- Excellent IT skills and Customer/Sales orientation.
- Previous working experience in products and installation, especially for Datacentre or equivalent.
