Electrical Engineering Apprentices Level 3

We are once again seeking to recruit talented, career driven and highly motivated individuals via our modern 4-year apprenticeship programme for training and a career in Engineering.

Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Electrical / mechanical skills.
  • Assembly of Electrical Switchgear and associated Electromechanical equipment / systems to engineering drawings and production timescales.
  • Electrical engineering competencies.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and components.
  • Interpretation of electrical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and malfunctions.
  • Attendance, time keeping, willingness to learn.

Your performance with NWRC will be closely monitored and can determine long term opportunities. On completion you will receive an Electrical Engineering Level 3 Diploma qualification in Engineering, leading to a potential pathway to HNC or HND qualification.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • UK Applicants must have achieved a Level 2 Diploma in Engineering, OR 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above and include Mathematics (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
  • ROI Applicants must have achieved Level 2 Diploma in Engineering OR 4 OLCs (Grade 05 or above) to include Mathematics; OR Leaving Cert Applied- Merit.
  • A passion for electronics, circuits, and electrical systems.
  • A drive to continuously improve and develop your technical skills.
Exciting Career Prospects:

After completing your apprenticeship, you'll have the chance to move into a full-time role within Vertiv: Electrical Assembly, Electrical Test Technicians / Engineers, CAD Technicians / Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Project Manager.
