Are you an experienced Welder / Fabricator looking for a senior, hands-on role where your technical expertise is valued? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing environment, working on complex fabrication and welding projects with high quality standards. This role suits a skilled professional who can work independently, support production and development work, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:- Carrying out TIG and MIG welding on fabricated metal components, including copper and aluminium where required.
- Fabricating, assembling, and welding components to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, weld symbols, and technical documentation.
- Welding in flat and vertical positions to required standards.
- Inspecting completed welds and assemblies, identifying and correcting defects.
- Completing finishing work using grinders and sanders.
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records.
- Supporting prototype builds and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring a clean, safe work area.
- Supporting and guiding junior welders when required.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:- Level 6 qualification in Welding / Fabrication or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong MIG welding experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to quality, detail, and safety.
- Experience welding copper and aluminium.
- Welding certifications.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
