We are excited for you to apply. This is for 3rd year students studying in the AEC (Architectural, Engineering or Construction) Industry who would like to join Vertiv's BIM & Digital Engineering Department with further exposure to Project Management, Electrical & Mechanical teams.
Vertiv are seeking to recruit an ambitious and motivated Student to join our team at our Office in Burnfoot, Donegal. The successful candidate will be in full-time third level education where they must take a 1-year placement in industry. The candidate will be rewarded with a market-leading salary, excellent opportunities for development, and extensive support within the BIM & Digital Engineering Team as well as in the wider Busbar Product Management Team & R&D Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Department Head, this position presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to BIM & Digital Engineering software, processes, and being part of the team in the Design & Delivery of Engineering Products in the Busbar department contributing to the ever-growing Data Center & Construction Industry. The main remit of the role will involve working with BIM & Digital Engineering Coordinators to support ongoing BIM projects utilising industry-leading software like Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and contributing to the overall BIM & Information Management efforts of the department. You will also have the opportunity to move around departments like Project Management, R&D, and Mechanical/Electrical teams to gain further working knowledge of a project's lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be enrolled in a 3rd level degree based on the AEC (Architectural Engineering & Construction) Sector
- An understanding of Engineering Design Principles
- Working knowledge and experience with 3D modelling and 2D drafting of product designs i.e. Revit, Autodesk ACC, and AutoCAD
- Experience with MS Office packages: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.
