Our facility in Letterkenny specializes in Vertiv PowerModule design, construction, and delivery of customized, pre-fabricated buildings. Our modular data centre solutions are engineered to meet the evolving demands of modern infrastructure, offering flexibility, scalability, and rapid deployment.
Responsible for customized solutions for two main business sectors: Data Centres and Telecom. Designing and developing modular buildings for customized solutions in accordance with the highest standards and demanding requests. Electrical and controls design on projects (Electrical, Fire Alarm and Controls systems). Integration with other disciplines: architectural, structural, mechanical. Focus on general design, concepts, calculation, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design of the BMS and electrical manufacturing documentation
- Specification of the equipment and material for factory integration, electrical and BMS
- Ordering materials for factory integration
- Preparation of bill of quantity for the execution of works
- Engineering supervision and support when equipping modules in the factory (Letterkenny)
- Setting up the BMS equipment (field equipment, network switches and PLC's, servers and operator working station)
- Making procedures for L1.3. factory testing and commissioning on site
- Supporting testing team during FAT
- Making 'As built documentation'
- Making installation manuals
- Support during commissioning on site
- Design/validation of fire alarm system documentation set
- Design/validation of security system document set
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or IT required
- Excellent communicator with verbal and written English language skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Deep interest and curiosity in all aspects of Engineering or IT
- Problem solver and creative thinker
- Comfortable working in a diverse environment where no two days are the same
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual, able to be productive in multi-cultural, virtual work environments with colleagues based in Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Able to work as part of a team and to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
