The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer bridges the gap between product design and full scale production.
Job Description:
- Provides technical support to production plants during the introduction of new products
- Identifies and defines areas for improvement in manufacturing processes
- Provides information to the R&D department regarding materials, components, and assembly procedures based on current and planned manufacturing technologies
- Prepares, designs, and implements new investments in manufacturing technologies
- Manages priorities in change management processes and oversees their implementation
- Supports and manages prototype and beta series builds and prepares related reports
- Trains local engineering teams on new products and accessories
- Evaluates assigned cost-saving programs and identifies opportunities for improvement
- Manages the preparation and creation of work and test instructions
- Creates production process flow diagrams
- Manages project teams to ensure on-time implementation of new products
- Prepares analyses for make-or-buy decisions
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education: Technical university (preferred field: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Systems)
Required Experience: 2 years of experience in similar job position
Language Skills: English - fluent in both spoken and written communication
Basic Skills: CAD, proficiency in technical drawing, Innovative thinking
Professional Skills: MS Office, MS Project, ERP Oracle, Experience with CAD/CAM systems, Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles, Ability to learn and improve company processes, Ability to work in an international environment, Goal-oriented
Personal Attributes: Teamwork ability, accuracy and precision in drawing and in general, practicality
