Apprentice UPS Customer Service Engineer

Overview
Apprentice UPS Customer Service Engineer. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified UPS Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Undertake and successfully complete the Vertiv training program
- Keep and update training records as required within the apprenticeship framework to achieve training targets
- Assist UPS Field Service/Battery Engineers/Technicians in the following service activities:
- Providing a Commissioning, Maintenance and Repair service on UPS equipment supplied or maintained by Vertiv
- Fault finding and rectification
- Carry out contract maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to required standards
- Identify opportunities for extra work and preventative recommendations
- Remedial work to contract customers either as planned work or as a call out facility
- Completion and submission of relevant reports to service administration within a timely manner following all site activity
Qualifications
- To be considered for this role you will ideally need GCSE grades 9-4 (A*- C) in English and maths or the ability to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills during the program.
