Vertiv's Services organization is seeking a strategic and analytical leader to drive manpower capacity planning across the EMEA region. This role is critical to ensuring our workforce is optimally aligned with service demand across all product lines. The successful candidate will assess and enhance existing planning models, implement improvements and manage workforce planning processes to support operational excellence and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Model Development
- Evaluate and enhance existing manpower capacity planning models.
- Design scalable data‑driven frameworks tailored to EMEA service operations.
- Align planning methodologies with business growth and service delivery goals.
- Forecasting & Headcount Management
- Proactively forecast headcount requirements across product lines and geographies.
- Conduct scenario planning to support long‑term workforce strategies.
- Ensure alignment between workforce supply and service demand.
- Workforce Optimisation
- Monitor workforce utilisation and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Recommend and implement optimisation strategies to improve productivity.
- Support initiatives to reduce operational bottlenecks and resource gaps.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with regional leaders in HR and service delivery teams to align planning efforts.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to ensure transparency and buy‑in.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for workforce visibility and decision‑making.
- Track key metrics and KPIs to measure planning effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in manpower or capacity planning, ideally in a service delivery or field operations environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in capacity planning tools or similar planning tools.
- Experience working in a multi‑country matrixed organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and seniority levels.
- Knowledge of workforce optimisation strategies, forecasting techniques and demand modelling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Degree in Business Operations Engineering or related field; advanced degree or certification in workforce planning is a plus.
