Requirements
- You have 5-10 years of experience working with consulting firms, either as a partnerships manager/leader at a technology company, or within a consulting firm’s client-facing or alliances team.
- You may also have worked in business development, account management, or a similar role.
- You enjoy a role that combines both business development and relationship management.
- You have the gravitas and presence to engage with highly experienced professionals, holding your own with industry leaders who have decades of experience (Senior Partners, Subject Matter Experts, CPOs, CIOs, and CFOs).
- You have strong commercial intuition, and the ability to build rapport, influence people and drive change, whether it’s with a senior exec or junior operator.
- You are an expert people person and your superpower is building and maintaining strong relationships.
- You love being client-facing, and you enjoy attending events and networking functions.
- You are highly results-driven, organised, and reliable.
- (Preferred) You have procurement consulting, procurement transformation, and/or procuretech experience, with a focus on indirect and technology category procurement.
What the job involves
- We are partnering with the world’s leading firms to expand our customer base, who refer us to clients who will benefit from Vertice’s products and service.
- You will join the team at an exciting time as we solidify our presence in the EMEA market.
- Your role will be to identify and build relationships with existing and net new consulting partners across EMEA.
- You will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships & Growth, who is based in London.
- This is a hybrid role where you will both open up new relationships with consulting and professional services firms as well as developing and nurturing existing relationships.
- You will work in partnership with the Sales, BD, Marketing, and other internal teams to grow the channel.
- Identify consulting and professional services firms through your network, cold outreach, and referrals to generate new business opportunities for Vertice with their clients.
- Develop and build strong relationships with client-facing and alliance teams at new and existing consulting partners, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Once you’ve developed a partnership with a firm, run monthly/quarterly business reviews to update them on their client engagements and referrals, and identify other ways to maintain and strengthen the relationship.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent Vertice and build our brand as a trusted consulting ecosystem partner.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer teams to improve the Vertice for Consultancies offering.
