Vertice was launched in 2022 to transform how companies manage their technology spend. Our agentic workflows, AI insights and expert buyers empower companies to buy smarter and scale faster, with Finance and Procurement leaders in over 30 countries worldwide trusting Vertice to manage their software purchases. In the software category alone, we have managed over $10bn in spend and have a track record of delivering 20% savings and halving procurement cycles.

Headquartered in London with offices across the world including New York, Brno, Sydney and Johannesburg, we’re shaping the future of procurement on a global scale. Founded by serial entrepreneurs Roy Tuvey and Eldar Tuvey, who have a track record of building two category-defining technology companies to exit, Vertice has seen a remarkable 13X revenue growth in two years. This trajectory earned us the #2 spot on the Sunday Times' 2026 Tech 100 list, following our recognition as 2025’s fastest-growing startup in the UK by the FT’s Sifted, and as fourth in Europe. Following our Series C, we have secured $100M+ in funding from leading investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, 83North and Lakestar, and are expanding our reach across our team.

Your role at Vertice: We operate in an extremely exciting but also competitive segment of the market. And to compete, we must deliver the right messages to the right audiences at the right time. That’s where you come in.

We have a superb campaign team who are creating reasons to engage with us online and offline; a great events marketing operation who ensure we and our brand are in the places our audiences are; and a smart product marketing team who are helping our prospects and customers see the incontestable benefits of using our product over and above the competition. But we need you to help us by driving media relations, shaping our positioning in the market, and turning complex procurement and SaaS insights into compelling stories that earn attention.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on landing coverage, building journalist relationships, and creating narratives that cut through - while also supporting content initiatives that amplify those stories across owned and paid channels. The successful candidate will have done this before in B2B, and ideally in B2B SaaS, and will be comfortable - if anything, excited - by this being both a strategic and tactical role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the PR strategy across key regions, including UK, EMEA, US and APAC ensuring a continuous global cadence of media coverage.
  • Create and manage the PR calendar.
  • Develop and own relationships with key journalists across procurement, tech, SaaS and business.
  • Work with our content team to ensure the content calendar supports PR needs, and translate PR stories into high-performing media content.
  • Own media outreach: pitching stories, securing coverage, and managing press cycles.
  • Identify and create newsworthy angles from product launches, data insights, and customer wins.
  • Draft press releases and reactive commentary, and manage executive profiling.
  • Own the awards and corporate profile calendar.
  • Monitor media landscape and position Vertice within key industry conversations.
  • Own the case study, customer references and reviews programme.
  • Support our AR programme.
  • Support owned events and trade shows where necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B PR role (it is vital that this experience is current / recent). Preference for candidates with PR experience targeting finance, fintech or procurement trade media.
  • Familiarity with UK and US media landscape as a minimum, ideally plus EMEA and APAC.
  • Extensive experience in multi-format B2B content creation.
  • Evidence of having material impact on commercial performance through PR efforts.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with senior-level executives.
  • A demonstrable equal balance of focus on ROI and creativity.
Things we like to see:
  • Proven self-starter and individual contributor mentality.
  • Strong work ethic with a “get stuff done” mentality.
  • An aptitude for both copywriting and messaging, plus numbers and data.
  • A helpful, humble attitude that loves participating in the fostering of a healthy and happy work culture.
  • A natural creativity and curiosity to try new things - to commit to an ambitious plan and co-create a memorable and meaningful company. Autonomy is a highly valued quality.
