Your Role At Vertice
- The Business Development Representative will be an ambitious, tenacious, charismatic sales person.
- You will generate leads and convert them into warm leads and meetings for the sales team.
- Drive business at the early stage of the sales process to provide warm leads for our UK AE team.
- Own your targets, track your KPIs, and strive to hit weekly/monthly success metrics.
- Engage with leads and prospects via phone, email and live chat.
- Be the ambassador and source of product knowledge, articulating the product and its USP clearly, concisely and credibly.
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with Product teams to convey prospects' feedback and improve the product.
- Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM.
- Adapt to changing priorities quickly – we work fast.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years in a Business Development environment.
- Record of adaptability and rapid execution under uncertainty.
- Intrinsic motivation, positive attitude, strong communication skills, charisma and leadership.
- Organised, accountable and self‑directed.
- Proven success in a BDR/SDR function.
- Experience working in a rapid‑growth early‑stage SaaS start‑up.
- Previous SaaS experience.
