We’re partnering with a dynamic consultancy delivering landmark projects across the UK, seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving team and lead a diverse portfolio of high-value developments. This forward-thinking property and construction consultancy provides exceptional cost and project management services across a wide range of sectors, with typical project values ranging from £5-15M and some schemes reaching up to £80M.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employer’s Agent (6–10 years’ experience) who can hit the ground running. You’ll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, managing costs, contracts and client relationships with autonomy and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across multiple sectors.
  • Act as Employer’s Agent on design and build projects.
  • Manage cost planning, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client and contractor relationships.
  • Mentor junior team members and help establish best practice within the consultancy.

About You

  • 6-10 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying or Employer’s Agent roles.
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • MRICS-qualified or actively working towards chartership (preferred).
  • Strong communicator with excellent commercial acumen.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to a growing consultancy.
