Their work spans an unusually wide range, both in terms of size and type. Projects can be anything from small alterations and extensions to major new builds and large-scale refurbishments, all making use of the latest materials and construction techniques. They’ve also advised on the repair and restoration of many historic buildings and have worked alongside some of the country’s leading architects on the design of standout modern buildings. So far, they’ve completed over 30,000 projects and picked up more than 850 design awards along the way.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a structural engineer with 4–7 years' post-graduate experience who’s looking to build on their technical skills and take on greater project responsibility, with the support of a collaborative and highly experienced team.
As a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer, you’ll work on a wide variety of projects, from cutting-edge new developments to complex refurbishments, across sectors and scales, offering plenty of opportunities to grow your technical and creative capabilities. You’ll work closely with architects, clients, and fellow engineers to help bring ideas to life through thoughtful, sustainable, and considered design.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 4–7 years’ structural engineering experience, ideally working in a design consultancy environment.
- Qualifications: A good, IStructE- or ICE-accredited degree in structural or civil engineering. Near-chartered or chartered status is preferred.
- Skills: Strong technical ability, clear communication skills, and the confidence to take responsibility for your work, while collaborating openly with colleagues and clients.
