A long-established and privately owned property and construction group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their in-house construction team. With a significant pipeline of industrial and commercial developments across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business with strong financial backing, long-term vision, and a clear route for career progression.

You will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple new-build projects, supporting the delivery team through the full project lifecycle, and contributing to strategic commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects from inception to final account
  • Prepare and submit valuations in line with contract terms and ensure timely payments
  • Produce accurate monthly CVRs and forecasts
  • Procure and manage subcontractor packages, ensuring value for money and clarity of scope
  • Administer main and subcontractor contracts, including the preparation of contractual notices
  • Assess and agree variations, ensuring entitlement is maximised
  • Work collaboratively with the delivery team, providing cost advice and assessing impact of site progress on budgets
  • Finalise client and subcontractor accounts efficiently and maintain strong working relationships
