Their Midlands Building Engineering team, consisting of over 110 engineers and technicians across Birmingham and Nottingham, is continuing to grow due to a strong pipeline of major projects across the UK and internationally.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer looking for:

You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of innovative building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects including:

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with leading architects, engineers and specialist consultants on projects where sustainability, technical quality and innovation are at the forefront.
Responsibilities
• Leading mechanical building services design across multiple project stages
• Developing system strategies and detailed technical solutions
• Carrying out thermal and comfort analysis
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders
• Producing and reviewing technical drawings, reports and specifications
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
• Managing project delivery to programme and budget
• Contributing towards sustainable and low-carbon design strategies
About You
• Mechanical Building Services consultancy experience
• Strong technical design capability across a variety of sectors
• Experience delivering complex projects
• Chartered Engineer status (IMechE/CIBSE) or working towards Chartership
• Understanding of sustainable building design and energy performance
• Experience with tools such as IES for energy modelling is advantageous
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
