We’re working with a respected consultancy known for its work across the built environment, now looking to strengthen its Manchester team with an experienced Surveyor or Senior Surveyor specialising in Party Wall matters. This is a technical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being out on site as much as delivering clear, accurate reports. You’ll be involved in a range of commercial projects, supporting clients from early planning stages through to completion.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing Party Wall appointments from start to finish
- Preparing and serving notices, schedules of condition and awards
- Undertaking site inspections and liaising with adjoining owners and their representatives
- Advising project teams on construction impact and compliance
- Producing well-structured technical documentation and reports
- Working across related areas such as scheduling, engineering and defect analysis where required
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in Party Wall surveying, ideally within the commercial sector
- Or experience in scheduling, engineering, or defects-type work with an interest in specialising in Party Wall matters
- Solid understanding of construction and building processes
- Confident on site and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- MRICS qualification welcome but not essential
You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values practical knowledge, attention to detail and a straightforward approach to client service. If you’re an experienced Surveyor with Party Wall or related technical experience and are looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
