Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step? We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy to find a talented Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their cost management team. This consultancy has over 20 years’ experience delivering high-value, complex projects across the UK. They bring together expertise in project & development management, cost management, and strategic planning, helping clients every step of the way - from large residential and co-living schemes to mixed-use regeneration, higher-education campuses, and luxury hotels.
You’ll be leading cost management on a range of exciting projects - typically £10m-£200m+ - and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. Expect variety, challenge, and plenty of opportunity to grow.
- Leading cost management across high-value, multi-disciplinary projects
- Providing commercial insight and forecasts at all stages - from procurement strategy and risk management to final accounts
- Working closely with planning, project, and development teams to keep everything running smoothly
- Mentoring and supporting junior QS staff
Projects You’ll Work On:
- High-density residential and co-living schemes, up to 500+ units across multiple UK locations
- Multi-unit build-to-rent schemes in Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham and beyond
- Long-term frameworks for repeat developers, advising across multiple sites
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing high-value, complex projects, especially residential and mixed-use developments
- Knowledge of JCT, NEC, or bespoke contracts, and experience with commercial reporting
- Expertise in cost planning, tender analysis, procurement, risk management, value engineering, and final accounts
- Experience mentoring junior team members and managing multiple projects
