The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide comprehensive Cost Consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects including student accommodation, residential, private residential, and developer-led developments primarily in the Northwest.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate estimating and cost planning
- Offering procurement advice and developing cost plans
- Acting as Employers Agent on various projects
- Preparing tender documentation and reporting
- Contract administration and rigorous cost control
- Managing interim valuations and cost reporting
- Providing contract and dispute resolution advice
What You Will Need
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Proven track record in feasibility, cost planning, procurement, tender documentation, and post-contract services
- Experience working within a consultancy or as an end-user client
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships and developing new business
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, working collaboratively as part of a team
- A proactive, flexible, enthusiastic, and ambitious approach
