MEP Revit Technician

Vertical Recruitment are working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit two

MEP Revit Coordinators to join their growing team in Rochdale.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced MEP professionals to play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary design team, you'll produce high-quality coordinated MEP designs from concept through to construction, helping deliver specialist facilities including cleanrooms, laboratories and other highly regulated environments.

As an MEP Revit Coordinator, you'll be responsible for producing coordinated building services models and construction information using Revit and Auto CAD.

You'll work closely with architects, structural engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure designs are fully coordinated, accurate and ready for construction.

Projects range from research laboratories and healthcare facilities through to sterile manufacturing environments, offering the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most technically demanding building services projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce coordinated MEP designs and construction information using Revit and Auto CAD.
  • Develop and maintain multi-disciplinary 3D BIM models throughout project delivery.

• Coordinate building services installations including

  • Domestic water services
  • Drainage systems
  • Heating and cooling systems
  • HVAC services
  • Cable containment and associated building services
  • Produce schematic drawings, installation layouts and detailed construction information.
  • Ensure designs comply with BIM standards, ISO 19650 and internal quality procedures.
  • Coordinate designs with architects, structural engineers and wider project teams.
  • Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend design coordination meetings and collaborate with clients and contractors where required.
  • Deliver accurate, coordinated, installation-ready information to support successful project delivery.

About the role

  • ONC or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience producing coordinated MEP designs on multidisciplinary building services projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, Auto CAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical and HVAC services within BIM environments.
  • Experience delivering projects from design through to construction.
  • Previous experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory, cleanroom or other highly regulated sectors would be highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of BIM workflows and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
