We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a leading Construction Consultancy who specialise in providing comprehensive Cost and Project Management consultancy services across various sectors, specifically water & waste water. Joining the Infrastructure Division, you will be part of a recently secured significant framework with a Utilities company, delivering Quantity Surveying services for the AMP 8 Water Better Rivers Programme in the North West.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Availability to work in the Warrington office up to three days per week & 2 days WFH. Ideally suited for candidates who can easily commute to or reside near Warrington.
  • Proficiency in NEC3 or NEC4 ECC main Option A, C, or E for project delivery, administration, and management.
  • Experience in managing post-contract projects, from contract award to final account.
  • Ensuring contracts are administered in compliance with requirements, including responses to communications, payments, compensation events, and programme submissions.
  • Consistent and proactive budget and cost management, offering solutions with a positive attitude.
  • Responsibility for accurate commercial reporting.
  • Proactive risk management for projects and programmes, with effective mitigation plans in place.
  • Building strong client relationships.
  • Supporting internal business development initiatives.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in water or wastewater projects.
  • NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager accreditation.
  • MRICS – Chartered Surveyor or currently pursuing APC.
  • Familiarity with contract management software, such as CEMAR.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
