About the role

Our client is seeking a Building Services Engineer to support their continued growth and ongoing success. In this role you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions across both public and private sector projects. You will work within established business knowledge and quality management systems and support the full range of design, construction, engineering and maintenance activities, as well as project development and consultancy services. The post holder will work across a variety of projects and develop strong multidisciplinary awareness while contributing to high standard project delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Commit to continuous professional development
  • Demonstrate an interest in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Show a strong interest in sustainable design and the client’s forward thinking approach
  • Produce complex calculations, drawings and design work under supervision, while taking responsibility for specific tasks independently
  • Develop an understanding of other disciplines to assist with coordinated project delivery
  • Liaise with in house engineers, environmental specialists and CAD teams
  • Contribute to project management activities and work to agreed deadlines
  • Provide updates to line managers as required
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects and the wider design team
  • Foster positive working relationships within the organisation
