Building Surveyor - Associate
Location: Manchester
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000
We are looking for a Building Surveyor through to Associate level on behalf of a long standing client of ours, to join their growing Manchester team.
This opportunity would suit a technically strong surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a well established consultancy. The role offers significant exposure to project delivery across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, heritage, and mixed use developments.
Working closely with directors and senior colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering major works, refurbishment, building safety, and asset improvement projects while benefiting from a flexible working environment and clear opportunities for progression.
The Role
- Delivery of major works and refurbishment projects
- Contract administration and project management responsibilities
- Building safety and remediation schemes
- Defect diagnosis and technical reporting
- Planned maintenance and asset improvement projects
- Client and stakeholder management
- Exposure to a diverse portfolio of existing buildings and assets
About You
- Building Surveyor through to Associate level
- MRICS or MCIOB qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
- Strong technical building surveying knowledge
- Proven experience delivering project focused work
- Comfortable leading projects and managing client relationships
- Experience across refurbishment, major works, contract administration, building safety, or asset improvement projects
- Looking to progress within a growing and supportive consultancy environment
