We are working with a well established London consultancy that delivers specialist building surveying services across historic and listed buildings, complex estates and long term refurbishment programmes. Much of the work is estate led and programme based, with instructions spanning public and institutional clients.

The position sits within a building surveying team with a strong focus on heritage and complex estates. Current and ongoing work includes listed and historic buildings, large scale public sector refurbishment programmes and projects across education, healthcare and the arts.

Responsibilities will vary by level but typically include:

  • Delivery of building surveying services across historic and listed assets, including Grade II buildings
  • Management of programmes of works and large scale refurbishment projects, particularly across public and institutional estates
  • Client facing advisory work, working closely with asset managers, estates teams and other consultants
  • At senior levels, there is scope to take on wider responsibility, contribute to team growth and play a leading role within key client relationships.

This role would suit an MRICS Building Surveyor, or a more senior surveyor, with experience in either:

  • Heritage or listed buildings, including Grade II assets, or
  • Managing complex programmes of works across estates or large portfolios

Experience within the public sector, education, healthcare or similar environments would be beneficial, though not essential.

For Associate and Partner level candidates, the role offers the opportunity to influence service delivery, support team development and progress into long term leadership within the business.

What’s on offer:

  • London based role with hybrid working
  • Salary aligned to level, ranging from approximately £65,000 at MRICS through to £120,000 at Partner level, plus benefits
  • Exposure to high quality, long term estate and programme led work
  • Clear progression, with a realistic pathway through to senior leadership and Partner level
