Vertical Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking civil and structural consultancy with offices in London, Manchester, Australia, South East Asia, and New Zealand. The London office is newly established, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing and ambitious team from the ground up. Despite their global presence, the business operates as one cohesive team of around 200 people worldwide. Engineers collaborate closely across offices, initially working on projects delivered from the Manchester and London offices, while drawing on expertise from across the wider international network. This consultancy is known for pushing boundaries within structural engineering, delivering complex high-rise and mixed-use developments through innovative and considered design solutions.
The Role
As a Structural Engineer based in the London office, you will play a key role in the growth of this new location while being fully supported by the wider business. You will work on high-rise and mixed-use developments, with a strong focus on post-tensioned concrete design, contributing to technically challenging and high-quality projects. This role offers significant scope for progression within a thriving and expanding office, making it ideal for an engineer looking to take the next step in their career and have a real impact.
- Hold a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Have 2 to 5 years' experience within a structural engineering consultancy, ideally with exposure to high-rise or mixed-use developments
- Assist with design and project delivery, particularly on post-tensioned concrete structures
- Be technically strong and confident using structural analysis software
- Ideally have experience using Revit
- Communicate effectively and enjoy working collaboratively within a team
- Be motivated by the opportunity to develop specialist expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking environment
