A well-established national Structural & Civil Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Regional Director to lead and grow its Bristol office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to take ownership of an established office, drive business growth, develop client relationships and lead a talented multidisciplinary team. The role would suit someone already operating at Associate or Associate Director level who is looking to take the next step into a strategic leadership position.
The Role
As Regional Director, you'll be responsible for the leadership, performance and continued growth of the Bristol office, working closely with the wider senior leadership team to deliver both regional and national business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
β’ Leading, developing and mentoring a multidisciplinary engineering team.
β’ Managing the day-to-day operations and performance of the Bristol office.
β’ Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
β’ Overseeing the successful delivery of projects across a variety of sectors.
β’ Supporting business development, fee proposals and work-winning activities.
β’ Managing financial performance, resource planning and project delivery.
β’ Collaborating with Regional Directors and senior leaders across the wider business.
β’ Driving continued growth of the Bristol office and contributing to the long-term strategy of the consultancy.
About You
To be considered, you should have:
β’ Experience leading engineering teams within a consultancy environment.
β’ Previous experience operating at Associate or Associate Director level.
β’ A strong Civil Engineering background is preferred, although experienced Structural Engineers will also be considered.
β’ Excellent leadership, communication and commercial skills.
β’ A proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
β’ Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.
