We are currently working with a well regarded national property consultancy that is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor within its Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Building Consultancy team undertaking a diverse mix of both project and professional work across commercial and residential property. The role offers exposure to a wide range of instructions, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their technical expertise, manage client relationships and play a key role within a growing team.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad range of Building Surveying services, including:

  • Contract Administration
  • Project Management
  • Dilapidations
  • Technical Due Diligence
  • Defect Analysis
  • Planned Maintenance Programmes
  • Building Surveys and Technical Reporting

Working closely with a varied client base, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of instructions, build long term client relationships and contribute to the continued success of the team.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • MRICS qualified, or approaching chartership
  • Previous Building Surveying experience within a consultancy environment
  • Strong technical, communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple instructions and maintain strong client relationships
