Vertical Recruitment is partnering with a leading Independent Property and Construction Consultancy. As they expand their Manchester team, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Associate Director to lead and develop the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Services division in the North of England. This role offers the chance to take ownership of the team’s growth, shape its strategic direction, and drive business development. The successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery, client management, and team leadership, while also influencing the company’s broader objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
- Conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD) surveys and produce technical reports.
- Solve complex engineering challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions.
- Develop and nurture long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in line with strategic objectives.
- Ensure the effective implementation of decisions and best practices within the team.
- Serve as a role model, upholding company values and setting performance standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and thought leadership engagements, such as speaking opportunities and published articles.
