The business has experienced steady growth over the past 12 months, now with continued projects wins they look appoint an experienced M&E Revit technician to work within their 30 strong design team in Central Manchester. The company work on a variety of technically challenging and complex projects, this includes major innner city regeneration schemes, high specification new build commercial and residential developments, high profile stadium projects. About our client: The business has developed a strong team working culture, driven by a forward thinking inclusive management structure. They provide comprehensive mechanical and electrical design services to the built environment since establishment 15 years ago. Known for innovation, approachability, and collaboration. About You \” An MEP Technician with Extensive Working knowledge of Revit MEP and building services sector, preferably with 5+ years\’ experience. Able to create Revit models from early stages through the design phases. \” AutoCAD trained. \” Can use CAD and Revit without supervision. \” HNC, HND, or BEng in relevant discipline or equivalent experience \” Good communication and leadership skills to liaise with and supervise younger technicians and communicate design plans with engineers. Skills Required: Technicians need to be efficient with using Revit and carry out the following tasks; \” All aspects of building services (MEP) design and installation. \” MEP components, fixtures and fittings \” Understanding of coordination and the sequencing of services. \” Clash detection. \” Ability to document design/coordination issues and recommend alternative solutions. \” Communicate well with team members, clients and external design team.
