The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll manage projects from concept through to completion while working closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary design teams. Typical projects include:
- Heritage & listed buildings
- Structural investigations
- Existing building refurbishments
- Adaptive reuse
- Commercial & public sector developments
You'll also mentor junior engineers, develop client relationships and play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects across the North East and beyond.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- 5+ years' experience within a UK structural consultancy.
- Experience designing in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Chartered status or actively working towards Chartership.
- An interest in refurbishment, conservation or existing buildings.
