The Role
As Director, you'll take ownership of major commissions while helping shape the strategic direction of the North West business. Working alongside senior leadership, you'll develop existing client relationships, identify new opportunities, support business development and lead commercial teams delivering complex projects and programmes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead major Quantity Surveying and commercial management commissions from a strategic and delivery perspective
- Build and strengthen relationships with key infrastructure, utilities, energy and nuclear clients
- Identify new opportunities, support business development and contribute to regional growth
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing commercial teams
- Oversee commercial performance, fee management and profitability across commissions
- Provide senior commercial advice across complex NEC3 and NEC4 contracts
- Maintain strong standards of governance, risk management and project delivery
- Contribute to wider business planning and long-term strategic direction
About You
You'll be an established commercial leader with strong consultancy experience across infrastructure, energy or other major capital programmes. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Significant Quantity Surveying and commercial management experience
- Experience operating at Associate Director or Director level
- Strong client relationship and business development capability
- A background across infrastructure, utilities, energy, nuclear, industrial or process sectors
- Excellent NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing commercial teams
- MRICS or another relevant professional qualification would be advantageous
You'll combine strong commercial awareness with a collaborative leadership style and the credibility to operate effectively with senior clients, project teams and internal stakeholders.
