An established and respected building services consultancy, with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical building services across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities
Lead or contribute to the electrical design for projects of varying sizes, from concept through to detailed design and handover.
Liaise with clients, architects, and other members of the design team to ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare detailed electrical engineering calculations and specifications in accordance with current standards and regulations.
Produce and review electrical layouts, schematics, and technical reports.
Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, providing technical input during construction phases.
Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
Assist in the development of internal design standards and best practices.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
Intermediate: Minimum 3+ yearsβ relevant consultancy experience; Senior: Minimum 5+ years relevant consultancy experience.
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE guides).
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech (Trimble), and Dialux/Relux.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge in Dialux, Relux or similar lighting design package.
Chartered or working toward Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE or IET is desirable.
