Electrical Site Manager Location: Manchester Employment type: Contracting position Duration: 12 Month contract Rate: £275 – £325 Per Day Vertical Recruitment has partnered with a leading Building Services Contractor based in Manchester, who are known for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical projects across the Northwest. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join them on a 12 Month Contract in Manchester. You will take ownership of electrical works on site, managing teams, subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. The project is a high-rise residential scheme with a value of £130 Million. Key Responsibilities: * Take full ownership of day-to-day electrical installations on a high-rise residential site. * Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site operatives to ensure smooth, on-time delivery. * Ensure HSEQ standards are upheld across all MEP activities * Serve as the primary point of contact for the Project Manager, clients, and wider project team. * Ensure all electrical works are completed in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. * Promote continuous improvement, ensuring efficiency and high-quality workmanship on site. Experience: * Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager within building services projects. * Electrical background is essential (qualifications or time-served) * Experience working for a main contractor or large electrical subcontractor. * Ability to read and interpret electrical technical drawings and specifications. * Excellent organisational, leadership, and team management skills. * Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades effectively. * Available for a 12-month contract based in Manchester. Qualifications: * Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition) * SMSTS or SSSTS * CSCS card * First Aid certification
