Job Description
Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a PMO Quality Lead Role to join our Project Management Team where youll support us in the delivery of quality aspects for all licenced transfers.This role will be primarily based at our Staverton site but covers all ROW facilities with travel to licensors when required.Ontic is a more than just a business, were a community of innovators who pride ourselves on fostering a culture where talent thrives, ideas flourish, and careers are built. The Role:
As our PMO Quality Lead, youll play a pivotal role in ensuring quality excellence across our programmes by driving the successful completion of all required quality approvals and First Article Inspections (FAIs), Process Verifications and Part 145 audits. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, licensors, customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders, youll champion best practices, maintain the highest quality standards, and help deliver products our customers can trust.This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, values continuous improvement, and is committed to upholding company values while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and employment legislation. Working across licensing, acquisitions, and product transfers, youll provide expert quality guidance on novation activities, lead regulatory authority approvals (including UK CAA, FAA, EASA and Military requirements), and coordinate Design Authority and STC/TSO/ETSO transfer activities.Reporting to Project Management Office youll also partner with Project Managers, licensors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive First Article Inspection (FAI) programmes, resolve technical and supplier quality challenges, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. About you:

While we look for the right skillset, were also looking for someone who will thrive within our recognition and empowerment culture.To be successful in this role youll need to be a proactive and collaborative quality professional with a strong technical background and experience within a regulated aerospace environment or similar highly regulated environment.Youll have a solid understanding of UK CAA, EASA, FAA and military regulations, along with experience of part 145 audits and First Article Inspections (FAIs), product transfers, and regulatory approvals. With excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, youll be confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment while communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Youll be a team player who enjoys driving continuous improvement, making informed business decisions, and delivering high-quality outcomes. Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing business needs is essential.
