We\'re partnering with a globally recognised, premium ski and outerwear brand to recruit an Area Sales Manager to manage an established territory across the South of England.

The Role

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you\'ll take ownership of an established territory of approximately 30-40 retail customers, strengthening existing partnerships while identifying opportunities to grow the business through new accounts and increased product distribution.

You\'ll spend the majority of your week visiting independent outdoor and ski retailers, presenting new collections, supporting seasonal launches, delivering product training and helping customers maximise sales.

This is a highly autonomous, field based role where you\'ll plan your own diary, manage customer visits and become a trusted partner to retailers throughout your territory.

No two days are the same - whether you\'re launching the latest winter collection, merchandising product in-store or helping a customer unlock a new commercial opportunity, you\'ll play a key role in growing one of the most respected brands in ski and outdoor apparel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an established territory of c.30-40 independent outdoor and ski retail accounts across the South of England.
  • Present new seasonal collections, support product launches and deliver in-store training to retail partners.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to increase distribution and market share.
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with specialist retailers who share our client\'s passion for the outdoors and the mountains.
  • Plan and manage your own diary and territory to maximise customer coverage and commercial impact.
  • Merchandise product in-store and provide commercial guidance to help retailers maximise sell-through.

About You

A genuine, hands-on passion for skiing and snow sports - essential, not preferred.

  • Previous experience in field sales, territory sales or account management.
  • Experience managing retail, independent or wholesale customers.
  • A background in one or more of: ski, outdoor equipment, sporting goods, technical apparel, outdoor footwear, cycling, running or active lifestyle brands.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent organisation and territory planning skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
