Our client is a leading FMCG business operating across multiple markets and clusters. As a Project Manager, you will lead the organisation's group logistics change programme from conception through to delivery. You will manage the full project lifecycle, working cross-functionally to implement strategic logistics initiatives outlined in their long-term plans. This role offers the opportunity to shape logistics strategy, drive operational transformation across multiple sites and markets, and influence key decision-making forums.
Responsibilities
- Lead the group logistics change programme and manage full project lifecycle from conception to completion
- Oversee cross-functional implementation of logistics change activity aligned with strategic plans
- Ensure projects meet required standards for quality, cost and time delivery
- Manage programme governance and maintain consistency across internal and external teams
- Represent cluster logistics in key decision-making forums and strategic discussions
- Build and maintain effective relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers
- Manage complex contractual agreements with external logistics partners
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with experience managing large scale logistics or supply chain projects
- Experience managing complex third-party providers and contractual negotiations
- Track record of developing and implementing strategic change initiatives
- Proven ability to lead multi-site, multi-function teams effectively
- Operational understanding of logistics networks and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be in the office 2 days a week.
Salary banding is from £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus and benefits.
