Supply Chain Specialist (home-based)

As a Buyer (Indirect), you’ll be a vital part of the Procurement and Supply Chain team, driving business success and helping my client achieve their objectives. With your strong purchasing expertise, you’ll take charge of managing key categories, leading price negotiations, and collaborating with internal teams and our clients network to maintain top-notch inventory and ensure timely delivery of critical materials. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to an exciting and dynamic company that thrives on innovation. Dive deep into the category, market trends, innovations, and industry best practices to help shape key business decisions. Assess bids, providing recommendations that balance commercial value with technical excellence. Spot opportunities for new suppliers, negotiate favourable terms, and finalize supply agreements, including discounts and volume rebates. Ensure materials are always purchased at the most competitive prices, driving cost savings without compromising quality.
