We’re working with a high-growth eCommerce technology business at the forefront of digital retail and retail media transformation. The company partners with leading global brands and fast-growing challenger names to deliver best-in-class commercial performance across Amazon and other major online marketplaces.
They are now looking for an experienced Account Director to lead strategic client partnerships, drive digital channel performance, and shape long-term growth strategies across eCommerce and paid media, including the Amazon marketplace. This is a senior, high-impact role requiring strong commercial judgement, deep platform knowledge, and the ability to lead both clients and internal teams toward exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own senior-level client relationships, ensuring strong adoption of digital commerce, data, and retail media solutions.
- Take full accountability for delivering against client objectives and performance metrics across marketplaces and paid media.
- Collaborate closely with growth, retail operations, and media teams to deliver high-quality, timely outputs.
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with key client stakeholders and retail partners (e.g. Amazon, Walmart).
- Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities for cross-channel growth and innovation.
- Advise brands on strategies that connect digital marketing with retail performance to accelerate commercial outcomes.
- Contribute to leadership initiatives, helping shape best practices, mentor teams, and elevate delivery standards.
- Represent the business externally as a thought leader and advocate for retail media innovation across Amazon.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in eCommerce, retail media, or digital performance marketing.
- Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary client accounts with measurable commercial results.
- Strong understanding of Amazon (and ideally Walmart) ecosystems and operating models.
- Confident communicator, able to simplify complex strategies and build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Passion for innovation across retail, media, and consumer technology, including interest in the role of AI in shaping the future of commerce.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and collaborative, with experience influencing at senior level.
- Motivated by growth, challenge, and delivering excellence in a fast-paced environment connected to Amazon.
