Are you an experienced commercial operator with a passion for High Street retail and a knack for driving growth in established accounts? A leading FMCG brand is looking for a Senior Business Account Manager to take full ownership of its High Street channel portfolio. This is a high-impact, autonomous role where you’ll be responsible for developing and executing promotional and account plans across key High Street retailers.
Reporting to the Business Sector Controller, you will manage all commercial elements of the customer relationship – including volume forecasting, trade investment, and P&L ownership.
- Lead and grow High Street retail accounts with full P&L accountability
- Build and implement commercial strategies, budgets, and trade promotions
- Maintain updated account plans and track trade spend performance
- Serve as the internal ambassador for your accounts, ensuring top-tier representation
Proven track record in managing national retail accounts, ideally within the High Street channel. Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape and FMCG trading environment. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Analytical mindset with sound commercial acumen and P&L experience. Degree-level education and proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems.
