We are looking for a Procurement Manager who will lead direct procurement categories across the EMEA region, focusing on uninterrupted supply, service excellence, and cost optimization within a FMCG business. This role requires strategic category planning, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier relationship management to drive long-term value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure continuous supply to support category growth and business needs.
- Develop and execute category strategies tailored to regional requirements.
- Lead and manage high-level negotiations with key suppliers across EMEA.
- Conduct in-depth market and category analysis, including pricing, capacity, and risk factors.
- Drive Cost of Goods optimization through tenders, RFQs, and compliance processes.
- Build and manage supplier relationships for improved service and performance.
- Evaluate supplier innovations and capabilities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree or equivalent working experience
- Strong commodity procurement experience in an FMCG environment.
- Proven negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency with SAP systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Track record of process improvement in purchasing.
This is a hybrid role where you\’ll be expected to be in the office 2 times a week.
The salary banding is from £65,000 – £75,000 + 10% car allowance, bonus and benefits.
